Large sale again this week with numbers similar to previous week. Factory lambs were the same trade as last week. Quality store lambs met with a better trade, though light store and light ewe hoggets were not as good as last week. Good ewe hoggets and good breeding ewes were a good trade.

Lambs
Ten wither lambs, 43.5kg, €113.00. Twenty ewe lambs, 41.6kg, €130.00. Eight wither lambs, 36.3kg, €102.00. Fourteen ewe lambs, 48.6kg, €137.00. Twenty wither lambs, 45.6kg, €121.00. Nine ewe lambs 42.7kg, €115. Sixteen wither lambs, 36.6kg, €116.00.
Stag ewes
Sale of stag ewes similar to previous week. If anything a bit more demand for heavy ewes. Price ranged from €80 to €130.
Six ewes, 88kg, €100. Ten ewes, 87kg, €110.00. Nine ewes, 76kg, €95.00. One ewe, 105kg, €140.00. Three ewes, 78kg, €90.00.
Breeding Sheep
Good sale of quality breeding ewes. First Crop ewes made from €150 to €180. Second crop ewes and
third crop ewes made from €90 to €130.
Sheep sale every Saturday at 10am in person and online with ‘marteye’ in two “rings” ewe ring and lamb ring. Gates open at 7.30am.
